Lindsey Ewing
Lindsey Ewing is a graduate of the University of North Carolina School of the Arts of Winston-Salem, NC. She received her bachelor's degree in fine arts (concentration in wig and makeup design) in 2008. She is currently employed as the seasonal resident Wig Mistress at The Alliance Theater in Atlanta, GA.
Included in Lindsey's work experience are such companies as Sarasota Opera Company, Opera Carolina, Piedmont Opera, and Utah Shakespearean Festival. She continues her freelance in theater working for UNC Chapel Hill's Playmaker's Rep, and more recently The University of Maryland, The Aurora Theatre, Kennesaw State University, and Serenbe Playhouse in Atlanta, Georgia as wig designer. Learning continually, Lindsey hones her skills as an artist. She is proficient in custom built wigs, facial hair, light SPFX, character/aging makeup, vanity makeup, men's grooming and modern and period hairstyling.
Available for professional work on a freelance basis in Theatre, Film, Print, Bridal Hair and Makeup and Special Events and Occasions.
